Yerinde duramiyor adeta zaman o siyah kutunun icerisinde...Ben sadece ona yardim ediyorum kameramla disari cikmasi icin ama bir yandan da senelerdir ayni yerde, ayni mekanda, ayni zamanda durmak zorunda kaliyor kutu icinde duramayan zaman...Uzun bir gece olsa gerek diye dusunuyor insan, sabaha karsi 3'e yaklasmakta zaman...Ne isi var fotograf makinesinin elimde o vakitte diye sormayin, can sıkıntısı iste. Masanin uzerindeki tozda cabasi bekar evinin...Bu pozu yakaldiktan sonra usulca birakiyorum makinemi ve uykuya daliyorum adeta zafere ulasmis bir komutan edasiyla...Tarih belli degil bu fotografta, o akip gidiyor... Duran sadece an, tarih icindeki bir kucuk zaman dilimi...Durdurabilene ask olsun...

O gece once hep beraber iftar yaptik arkadaslarla...Ardindan surpriz bekliyordu birilerini ve birilerini daha... Cok eglendik, gobekler attik, halaylar cektik...

Sencer (Mr. Sench) - Me - Ozay ( Sekeroglan)
I am kind of small between these two guys. Ozay was my official roommate back in college years and Sencer was our official guest in our room...3.5 years in the same room with this huge guy and 2 of those years were in 2 persons room. I enjoyed those years my dear friend and of course Sencer we were glad to have you as a guest in our room. You are always more than welcome to our places and you hosted me in Istanbul when I visit Turkey. Sencer is in Switzerland, he is teaching there and Ozay is teaching in Polatli, Ankara, Turkey. I am glad to know you guys...

Turkish Festival

We were at Turkish Festival @ Houston last week. From left to right...Fatih - Ferdi - Yagmur...
Fatih was roommate for a long time and he has a different kind of sense of humor which influences you after a while. It's contagious :) He is a good travel partner though. I could drive 27 hours with him without getting bored.
We haven't lived in the same place with Ferdi officially but he stayed in our place a lot which makes us unofficial roommates :) He is an easy-going guy and he likes eating :) Look at the picture, while Fatih and Yagmur having a talk, he was busy with his plate...
Yagmur, Ferdi's wife, has a different personality. She is one of us now even though she doesn't like soccer at all. She likes photos; both being in it and being the one who is taking it...

I have seen many friends today at Turkish Festival at Houston. I saw friends that I haven't seen for several years. I enjoyed today a lot. Having friends and having them near to you is priceless...

This girl knows how to take a photo as well as modeling...

Nereye gitmek gerek, neden gitmek gerek bilmiyorum ama kimi zaman basini alip gitmek istiyor insan. Yola dusmek belki de rahatlatiyor insani, bir yerelere gittigini bilmek ya da bir yerlerde birilerinin bekledigini dusunmek... Gittigin yerde seni karsilayacak kimse yoksa gitmeye deger mi diye dusun bir kere daha...
